Our 18 tog duvet is designed to be comfortable all year-round. When the weather warms up, the duvet separates into two lighter parts - a 4.5 tog and a 13.5 tog. The 4.5 tog layer is perfect for summer nights, while the 13.5 tog provides warmth during cooler months. When it turns really cold again, you can easily clip them back together for the full 18 tog cosiness.
How do I decide whether I need an 18 tog duvet for the winter?
The right tog duvet for winter depends on how warm you want to stay, how cold the weather is and how cold your bedroom gets in the winter. A Soak&Sleep 18 tog duvet consists of a 13.5 tog duvet and a 4.5 tog duvet joined together with a cufflink fastener.
Because our 18 tog duvet is made with a combination of two separate duvets, you can remove the lighter 4.5 tog duvet for a lighter – but still warm – 13.5 tog duvet if you find you are getting too hot at night.
